Wind Youth Services is Sacramento County’s only program serving homeless youth. Our mission is to provide supportive services and opportunities to youth experiencing homelessness as they pursue self-determined lives of stability and independence.
Through our programs and services, Wind Youth Services provides homeless and at-risk youth between the ages of 12 and 24 with basic safety net and survival services and a safe place to stay.
Youth Advocates in Wind’s Street Outreach program emphasize personal safety and crisis intervention, while working with each youth to develop a case plan.
The Wind Homeless Youth Drop-In Center is a safe, non-judgmental space for homeless and runaway youth away from the dangers of the street.
Case Management & Counseling
Wind Youth Advocates work with each youth individually to develop a case plan with an emphasis on personal safety, life skills development, and education.
Emergency Youth Shelter
Wind Youth Services provides a temporary, low barrier, emergency overnight shelter for youth ages 12-24.
