Soiree 2020

We are excited to announce that the Wind Soirée 2020 will be held September 25, 2020, and we will be streaming live! Yes, our annual fundraiser is going virtual. All the fun, the youth spotlights and highlights of our programs, services, and staff will be brought directly to your living room.

The Soirée will feature tons of prizes, auction items, and the always exciting Fund-A-Need Challenge. This year the Fund-A-Need is presented as a challenge to reflect that 2020 has been a challenge due to COVID-19, and we’ve all had to pivot, change, and create a new normal.

During COVID-19, Wind’s doors have remained open every day to provide vital outreach services to vulnerable youth who have limited access to resources to stay safe. Wind has maintained consistent programming to deliver uninterrupted services to restore young people from literal homelessness. Additionally, we implemented programming-in-place at our housing programs and shelters, providing on-site and virtual case management and support.

The End of the Summer Soirée is currently the single, most significant fundraising effort that Wind undertakes each year. This incredibly important event raises one-third of the unrestricted funds that support Winds five housing programs, three shelters, and the Wind Drop-In Center.

Although this year’s event will not be in person, attendees will enjoy engaging entertainment, inspirational success stories, and programming highlights. We will also be featuring a live hometown band. Wind is committed to the 100% Local Pledge, and the Soirée will be spotlighting and supporting local businesses and artists from the region.

We invite you to join us virtually for our 2020 End of Summer Soirée on FridaySeptember 25, 2020, from 7:00pm – 8:00pm, as we raise funds to provide services for Sacramento’s youth experiencing homelessness. The event is free of charge, and if you register by September 4, 2020 you will be entered to win one of 10 exclusive viewing party packs! For more information visit:
